FTP Your Files Back and Forth
If you are using a WYSIWYG editor (Dreamweaver is our favorite), your FTP client may be built in. Otherwise, download a free version from Download.com.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Typically, you will set up a new site, give it a title and set up its properties. The local directory is where you keep your working files on your computer. The remote directory is where your files are served from. Your username and password are assigned to you when you set-up hosting services and typically came in an email sent to you at that time.

If you have issues using FTP to transfer your files, utilize your host's technical support and write down every step.
