Mmmm...Spaghetti Feeding the Monkey Yourself
Blah....

Brina.com has over 40 clients. Most of these clients have used our design services in the past and sometimes come back for a new logo or banner every so often. Some of our clients had a web site built for them and are happy enough with it as time passes that we never here from them again.

And then there are the clients that we refer to as our extended family. As long as the web still stands, as long as their business still stands and as long as Brina.com still stands, these people will always be part of our current client list. When a new image needs to be added, they call us. When their contact info changes, they call us. When an email bounces, they call us.

We're fine with this but we often refer to a client of ours that has flown away from our loving nest.

We set Jennifer up with a version of Dreamweaver, gave her a 10 minute primer and we haven't heard from her in almost a year. She completely maintains her own web site and has practically redesigned it from scratch since we finished in July 2001.

Taking care of your own web site is liberating. You have the freedom to try out new things and test how they work without having to beg for help or pay for it. This article will run through some of the basics to get you up and on your own two feet - feeding your monkey all by yourself.
